Set up the Services that you provide to your Clients.

  • Browse to the Services screen under the Items menu.

Adding and Editing Services

  1. Click New on the action bar, or select an item to edit.
  2. Set the basic properties of this item.
  3. Select the Service Type.
  4. Set the Timing of this Service. The Duration is the default length of time it takes to perform this Service. You can also set Prep and Recovery times for your Employees and Resources when performing this Service. Processing Time refers to how long this service takes to apply, during which the assigned Employee is able to work on other appointments. This could be used for something like a hair colour application.
  5. Enter the Pricing details for this item. This price represents the base price of the item, additional prices can be set up using the Price List function.
  6. Click the Save button to save your changes.

The Details tab allows you specify additional options for the service, including Employee and Resource restrictions.

  1. Set the Colour of this item. This will highlight Appointments on your Scheduler with this colour.
  2. The Reminder Period can be set to automatically send out reminders to your clients after a certain number of days from their last purchase of this Service.
  3. Check the Package Service Only check box if this service can only be booked as part of a Package.
  4. Check the Sell Online check box if you want this item to be available for ordering in the client Members Area.
  5. Check the Signature check box is this service is one of your signature services. This generally refers a Service that only your business provides that sets it apart from other businesses in your industry.
  6. Under Resources, set the Possible field to all Resources that can be used when performing this Service. Set the Required field any Resources that are required in order to perform this Service.
  • Tick the Trial checkbox if this Service is regarded as a trial at your business. This will add a Trials widget to your reports dashboard showing total Trial bookings for the current and previous month.
The Recipe tab allows you to set up what Products are used up when performing this Service. The quantities on hand of these Products will be automatically updated based on this recipe.
  1. Find a Product by typing in the Find box.
  2. Select whether you are adding a Quantity or Unit Quantity amount.
  3. Enter the Quantity that will be used when performing this Service.
  4. Click the Add button to add this Product to the recipe.
Set up alerts so that Clients with matching Alerts will be flagged when booking them onto this Service. 
  1. Check the Alerts that should be associated with this Service.

Deleting Services

  1. From the Services screen open the required item that you would like to delete.
  2. Click the Delete button on the action bar.
  3. If the item is not being used you will be prompted to confirm the delete by clicking the Delete button.
