Sales Analysis Report

The Sales Analysis report provides built in business intelligence functions to ChiDesk. Using a pivot table, you can quickly group and summarize sales data by a variety of fields.

Built in charting automatically updates to visually represent the changes you make to the pivot grid.

How to use the report

  1. Set the selected start and end date ranges. Note that selecting an overly large time period will slow down processing.
  2. Click the Edit Fields button to show a complete list of available data fields.
  3. You can drag fields from this window onto the pivot grid as either a new row grouping, column grouping or data grouping.
  4. For instance, if you wanted to group your sales by Year. Drag the Year field onto the column section of the grid. If you wanted to group by Employee, you could drag the Employee field onto the rows section of the grid. You can also add additional data fields such as Cost, Profit etc. by dropping them alongside the Total data field in the top left of the grid.
  5. To hide or remove a field, right-click it and click Hide.
  • Click the Export button to export the pivot grid to an editable Excel format.
